Today was one of those awesome days,when you cant think of any word good enough to describe it. Did you know that there are 1.2 million military kids? I was wondering how many of us there are so I googled it,because my Mom says I am the fact kid. My older Brother the marine calls me Professor.(so I try to always find out the facts).This is all really important to what I am about to tell you.
After recess, I saw my teacher and princple coming up to me . I thought ohoh ,I was thinking in my mind did I do something wrong? I thought about the week,the morning ,everything was flying in my mind. Now I have never had to see the pinciple for anything but good things, so i don’t know why I was worried.They must have saw the deer in headlights look and said it was nothing bad.They were happy to tell me I had made it to the finals for Military Child of the Year.It was such an unexpected message that I almost fainted. I had to grab a chair.I guess sometimes we should expect the unexpected.How did I get picked when there are so many of us? I am so young compared to everyone else they picked,but in my mind able to keep up with them all.Remember I am the littlest boy in the house.I am so honored to be representing all the Navy kids.we have a hard job , but we are. Super kids and bounce back from a lot of stuff.My dad and big brothers have made me strong ,smart and helpful.All four of them have made me learn how to help,smile and keep learning.So for today I am expecting the unexpected and super Honored by this award.
Ohh yeah and another bonus , you will get to read more of my blog posts because they are giving all the finalists a lap top from Soldiers Angels .No more waiting for Mom , Bub , or bella to get off the computer. You might get tired of all my thoughts ,I hope not

Me too Delaney, I am really honored considering there are 1.2 million military kids. I am proud to be representing us.We will find out on Thursday who is the winner. I a mreally glad because I will get a laptop so you can read more of my blogs since I won’t have to fight for a computer.
